Description of Drill

Have the ball above the 12 near the elbow and another attacker 5-6 yards away along the 12 as well. The defenders are marked up and playing tight defense.

The off ball attacker is setting a pick for her teammate and defense is having to work through whether to switch or stay. If the ball is on the same level as the defenders they should not switch. If the ball and player are ahead of the defender they can switch.

Equipment Needed

Balls, Half field

• -Let the decision be made based off the situation and not solely your philosophy as a coach

• Communication needs to come from the off ball defender
