A new season is just around the corner and we have some amazing coaches in the WLD Family who are doing some big things! For this reason, we will be highlighting one of YOU each month to share how different coaches encourage and engaged their teams.

Every spring, Coach Brooke pairs up an upperclassmen with an underclassmen to not only be a support system for each other through the season but also to grow a closer bond with the teammates they might not tend to spend as much time with. She calls these, Team Sisters!

What do Team Sisters do?:

They warm up together
Help each other practice essential skills
Before away games, they give each other small gifts of encouragement
Most importantly, support

Coach Brooke Says:

“We typically have themes for each game like "something sweet and something salty" or "pump up playlist" where they make their team sister the ultimate playlist to listen to on the bus ride. This is always a great team-bonding experience for us. “ - Coach Brooke

Coach Brooke and her squad open up the season March 22nd at 6:00 pm against Grandville High School!
