Kerstin Kimel is the longtime head coach of Duke University women’s lacrosse and the only coach in program history since its founding in 1996. A former two-time All-American and NCAA Defensive Player of the Year at Maryland, Kimel has built Duke into a consistent national contender with numerous NCAA Tournament appearances, ACC championships, and over 350 career wins. Widely respected for her leadership, resilience, and player development, she is known for fostering excellence on the field while emphasizing character, academics, and lifelong impact beyond the game.
